Watercolor Landscapes

A four-week online course beginning on October 1, 2022

Registration closes on September 30

About the Course

This four-week online watercolor course will walk through all of the watercolor techniques you need to learn how to paint one of my favorite subjects, landscapes! Each week of the course I’ll be sharing all of my best tips and tricks as we cover everything from stretching paper to creating textures to painting reflections, and much more.

A Little More Info

Course lessons will be pre-recorded so that you can go at your own pace. They’ll be released on a weekly basis, but you will have lifetime access to them once the course is complete.

Each week of the class will include a live one-hour session where I will answer questions and demonstrate techniques. These sessions will also be recorded in case you can’t join us live.

When you learn to paint the landscape, you learn to see the landscape, and it starts to become part of who you are.

Where is this workshop taking place?

This is an online course! Lessons will be pre-recorded and released on a weekly basis. We will have a live one-hour Zoom session each week where I will answer questions and demonstrate techniques. (Live sessions will take place on Thursdays October 6, 13, 20, and 27 at 7:30pm EST).

Will I need to provide my own supplies?

Yes. Please feel free to use whatever you have on hand! If you’d like my recommendations, you can find them here.

Is watercolor messy?

One wonderful thing about watercolor painting is that it is fairly mess-free. You may want to protect your painting surface with paper or plastic, but watercolor paint doesn’t stain and wipes up very easily.

I’ve never painted before. Is this class for me?

This course is suitable for beginners, but some level of experience with either drawing or painting (in any medium) is recommended.

How much time will this course take?

You can expect to spend about 1-2 hours going through lessons each week, with an additional 2-4 hours of practice time if you choose to do each project and attend the live weekly session. Please feel free to go at your own pace!

What is the price of this course?

$120 USD, which includes lifetime access to the course materials, as well as four live online Zoom sessions.

Registration closes on September 30
