With fall as our inspiration, this watercolor workshop will explore a variety of foundational watercolor techniques with a focus on painting a range of botanical forms. The lesson will include tips on mixing color, layering, and creating a variety of brushstrokes to achieve a beautiful collection of autumn "treasures," like pumpkins, acorns, and leaves.
By the end of the workshop, each student will leave with a finished painting, a watercolor kit, and the basic skills needed to create their own botanical artwork.
Your registration includes a watercolor supply kit from New River Art and Fiber with paints, brushes, and paper for you to take home. Gift tags, twine, and cutting tools will also be provided. *
This class is suitable for all skill levels.
