Native Flowers Workshop

  • Local Color Studio Gallery 275 S. Archibald Yell Boulevard Fayetteville, AR, 72701 United States (map)

Arkansas is full of beautiful plants, so I thought it would be fun to focus on learning how to paint some of our native varieties, such as the purple coneflower. The first part of the workshop will be dedicated to learning basic watercolor technique, from mixing color to using your paintbrush. We will then dive into learning specific strokes that will help you paint the individual flowers. My workshops are designed for the total beginner, so if you've never painted before, you're in the right place!

Included in the cost of the workshop is a watercolor kit and supply list (so you don't have any excuse not to practice when you get home), as well as some light snacks. After the workshop, the May We Fly Studio Shop will be open and all participants will have an opportunity to shop for 15% off.

Space is limited, so grab a spot while you can. I hope to see you there!
